This is a military version of the regular Blizzard Survival Jacket, combining the same warmth and tiny packed size with a number of additional features. Slightly shorter than the standard jacket for even greater mobility and a smaller pack size. Has addition of full-length polythene sleeves that give greater protection against wind chill, and can be pulled inside the garment when being used as a micro-shelter to create 100% effective wind seal. Velcro tabs allow the face opening in the hood to be closed.
